What kids do
Every morning starts with an hour of real Python: self-paced exercises with an instructor right there to help. Then kids learn about the latest real-world robots and build their own robot company.
Monday
Coding first thing in the morning. Then:
Learn about the latest in robotics. Invent their own robot. Pick a problem a robot could solve, name the company, and use AI to design the logo and a picture of the robot.
Tuesday
Coding first thing in the morning. Then:
Build their company's website. Kids use AI to build their company's website.
Wednesday
Coding first thing in the morning. Then:
Pitch it. Kids learn how a pitch is structured (the problem, the solution, who it's for, how it makes money), build their pitch presentation and present to parents at 11am.
Kids take home business cards with their own logo, and a pitch ready for Thanksgiving dinner.
What to bring each day
A laptop or Chromebook and charger, a water bottle and a nut-free snack.
Questions
Do kids build a real robot? No, there are no robot kits to build. Kids learn about the latest robots, from self-driving cars to humanoid robots, then invent and design their own robot on screen.
Does my child need to know how to code? No. Most kids start from zero.
How does AI fit in? Python coding time is AI-free, so kids learn to write code themselves. In the project hour, they use AI as a helper and learn to prompt AI and experience the latest tools in AI.
